Vol. 1 (2026)We are pleased to announce the publication of Volume 1 (2026) of the STAR Journal of Law, Policy and Society, marking the inaugural issue of a new interdisciplinary forum dedicated to advancing scholarship at the intersection of law, public policy, technology, and society.
This first issue features five timely articles by seven authors, addressing critical global issues including AI governance in higher education, children's rights and climate justice, reproductive rights of incarcerated women, equity and compliance in academia, and democracy and preventive detention. Together, these contributions reflect the journal's commitment to publishing rigorous, relevant, and impactful research that informs policy, legal practice, and social change.
