Published by STAR Scholars Press located in Baltimore, Maryland (USA), the Journal of Insurance and Social Security (JISS) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal advancing rigorous scholarship at the intersection of risk, insurance, and social protection. JISS publishes original theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research in risk management, insurance markets and products, financial inclusion and literacy, industry performance and governance, regulation and supervision, and social security and pension systems. Submissions are welcome worldwide and assessed against a single international quality standard, regardless of origin or affiliation. The journal provides immediate open access under a CC BY 4.0 license.

Journal Update: New Publisher and Journal Title

We are pleased to inform our readers, authors, reviewers, and editorial board members that the Nepalese Journal of Insurance and Social Security has moved to STAR Scholars Press, located in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. As part of this transition, the journal has been renamed as the Journal of Insurance and Social Security. The new title reflects the journal’s broader international scope while continuing its commitment to publishing high-quality research in insurance, risk management, social security, financial protection, public policy, and related fields.
